2024-25 Draft Guide Team Preview: Charlotte Hornets

How’d We Get Here?
The Hornets were once again stuck at the bottom of the standings, and worst of all they didn’t get many reps with their young players on the court at the same time because of another lost season for LaMelo Ball — plus a bonus lost season for Mark Williams. With no real sense of how the core actually fits together, the Hornets only made low-key moves over the summer, with one rotation acquisition and a huge contract handed out to Miles Bridges. Charlotte also picked Charles Lee to be the team’s new head coach, and he’ll be charged with turning a legitimate collection of young talent into a competitive team.
