• Andrew Wiggins
    SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins has been traded to the Warriors in exchange for D'Angelo Russell, Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman.

The Wiggins era in Minnesota ends with a whimper, but this is as good a landing spot for Wiggins as he could've hoped for. Wiggins will get to play with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green while learning from one of the best head coaches in the league in Steve Kerr, who has already helped develop rehab projects like Marquese Chriss this season. He could, of course, recede into the former low-usage, Harrison Barnes-type role, but GM Bob Myers doesn't trade for players he doesn't plan to feature or at least play to their strengths. Wiggins should be able to dominate touches until Curry returns and Damion Lee is no longer the clear-cut winner of the Dubs' previous trade.
