Quinn Cook

PG, Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are waiving Quinn Cook, per Shams Charania.

Cook had a non-guaranteed year left on his contract but with the addition of Dennis Schroder, there's no need for a capable 3-point shooting backup guard anymore. Between Schroder and Alex Caruso, the Lakers actually have a competent collection of PGs rather than the group of specialists they trotted out last season. Cook should surface again soon as some team's third point guard.
