In all the craziness of free agency opening, the Blazers and Rockets deal has been announced. Covington fills an absolutely massive need for Portland, whose inability to defend at the forward spots was their Achilles heel last season. Enter one of the premier 3-and-D players in the league in Covington, who should be leaned on as a key player with the Blazers trying to get over the hump. Covington has been a fantasy dynamo at every stop of his career, and while his block numbers might come down a smidge now that he won't be logging minutes at center, he should still be a solid bet for top-50 numbers with upside for more thanks to his elite collection of threes, steals and blocks.
