The Knicks have reportedly waived Wayne Ellington.

Ellington was signed as a free agent last offseason but never made a real dent in the rotation despite the Knicks' obvious need for spacing. He knocked in 1.4 triples a night despite 15.5 mpg across 36 appearances. Ellington could have specialist appeal if ends up on a roster that actually uses him.
