Newly minted Suns teammates Devin Booker and Chris Paul have already been spotted in the gym together, ESPN posted to Twitter.

This is good news and we would expect nothing less out of Chris Paul, who has been an extremely hard-worker and exceptional teammate for the entirety of his basketball career. The hope is that, with Booker playing off the ball, Paul will offer some invaluable tutelage for however long (or short) he's in Phoenix. The haul the Thunder were able to pry off the Suns in the deal for Paul was relatively significant: Kelly Oubre Jr., Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and a fully protected 2022 first round draft pick. Obviously, the hope is that both sides will benefit – albeit in very different respects – from the swap. The Thunder continue to gather draft picks and seem poised to finally work toward a very strong young core.
