Patty Mills will not play on Friday vs. the Kings as the Spurs take it easy on the veteran guard.

Gregg Popovich is rarely reluctant to rest his players, and with the Spurs already undermanned, and it's not shocking to see him bring Mills along slowly. Mills was reportedly "aching from head to toe in a myriad [of] ways" on Tuesday. With Mills out, the Spurs should have plenty of opportunities to see how Dejounte Murray looks next to Derrick White, and they are also going to give Lonnie Walker some extended run.
