Wendell Carter Jr.C, Chicago BullsOtto Porter (left foot fracture), Wendell Carter Jr. (right ankle sprain) and Denzel Valentine (left hamstring tightness) were able to participate in 3-on-3 at Friday's practice.
All three players will have their statuses updated tomorrow but it sounds like they're all getting close to a return. Carter should reprise his starting role almost as soon as he's cleared, though there might be a small ramp-up period since he's been out for over a month. Porter has only played nine games this season and will need longer to get his conditioning back up to speed, while Valentine might come into some minutes on the wings with Chandler Hutchison sidelined once again. Carter will be a must-start option, while Porter's rough season makes him a solid flier but not someone that you necessarily want to be leaning on down the stretch in 12-teamers. The upside is definitely there, though. Valentine is only an option in deep leagues.
