Jonathan IsaacPF, Orlando MagicThe Magic have been denied a second disabled player exception for Jonathan Isaac by the NBA league office.
It was worth a shot for the Magic to request a DPE for Isaac as his knee injury figured to sideline him indefinitely. Now they'll have to carry him on their roster for the rest of the season. Isaac's prospects of returning to the court this season remain unchanged and he's unlikely to play again in 2019-20. This procedural move simply prevents the Magic from signing depth.
