Jrue Holiday (left elbow tricep strain) has been upgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game against the Celtics.

This is good news, despite the fact that he will probably miss tonight's game. The Pelicans can't catch a break with these injuries, but at least there haven't been persistent rumors that the team plans to rest their veterans in what is quickly becoming a lost season. Jrue Holiday and Derrick Favors are the engine behind the Pelicans' resurgent defense. With each missed game and mounting losses, rostering a veteran from this team becomes a riskier proposition.
