Fred VanVleetPG, Toronto RaptorsFred VanVleet (right hamstring strain) made a "brief appearance" at practice on Saturday, but is still expected to miss several weeks with his injury.
This is a non-report if there ever was one. Muscle strains can only heal with rest if there's not a complete tear of the soft tissue, so his being at practice in limited fashion is not necessarily good news if he's exposing himself to re-injury. That said, every single injured Raptor has been beating their return-from-injury timelines all season, so don't expect VanVleet to miss too much time. Norman Powell is due back on Sunday and he will hold value until VanVleet is available to return.
