The Pelicans will be trading Jrue Holiday to the Bucks, per Shams Charania.
The Bucks were known to be looking for a talent infusion after they've plateaued as an elite regular season team in the last two seasons, and Holiday certainly checks a lot of boxes for them. He's a dynamic offensive threat who can play as a lead playmaker or off the ball while also giving Milwaukee a capable backcourt defender. If the Bucks wanted to make a splash to convince Giannis Antetokounmpo that they're his long-term home, this is a fantastic first step. Holiday is on an expiring deal and the Bucks are giving up three first-rounders plus two pick swaps, so this could blow up in their faces, but that's a risk Milwaukee is willing to take if it means keeping the two-time MVP. Expect a full-court press on that front, because this isn't the type of move that gets made unless the front office thinks a deal with either or both Antetokounmpo and Holiday is on the way.
