Hassan WhitesideC, Portland Trail BlazersThe Kings may have interest in signing Hassan Whiteside, as first reported on The Jump by Brian Windhorst and backed up by NBC Sports' James Ham.
Of course the team with Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley is kicking tires on Whiteside. It's unclear how interested the Kings are here but it would be a very questionable fit and portend another move down the line unless the team is willing to move forward with an ugly timeshare. Whiteside had a massive statistical season for the Blazers last year but the team wasn't very good until the bubble, when Jusuf Nurkic returned and promptly limited Whiteside to mid-teens minutes off the bench. It's unlikely that Whiteside will want to accept such a role considering his run as a starter.
