Expect to see this from every free agent, as they're taking on a huge risk by going in to work out for a team that doesn't have them under contract. Wood in particular is heading towards a nice payday, and an in-bubble injury would jeopardize that. For what it's worth, Dwane Casey had a sensible take on the situation: "So it's just something I totally get because if I'm a free agent, I wouldn't attend anyway to the team you're not under contract with."
