Wenyen Gabriel scored a career-high 12 points vs. the Pelicans on Tuesday, shooting 5-of-7 from the floor and adding two boards and a triple in 14 minutes off the bench.

Gabriel has played in six of the last seven games for the Blazers. The rookie is taking advantage of multiple frontcourt injuries, but he has a chance to carve out a regular role in case the team falls out of the playoff race and turns to some of the youth.
