Trae YoungPG, Atlanta HawksTrae Young filled up the box score again, this time in a 115-123 loss to the Celtics on Monday, by posting a game-high 34 points (10-of-20 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
There's not much left to say about Trae, the number 7/29-ranked player (8-cat/9-cat) this season. You could nitpick his high turnovers or lack of blocks, but he is dangerously close to the second coming of Steph Curry that few wanted to believe in. Jeff Teague started this game since the Hawks were without De'Andre Hunter (left ankle sprain) and Cam Reddish (concussion, nose contusion), and he lit it up with 18 points, one rebound, six assists, four steals and even a pair of dunks. Don't get used to this, but it's good to see that Teague can still get it done.
