The Thunder and head coach Billy Donovan, whose contract expired at season's end, have decided against a contract extension and have agreed to mutually part ways, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

This signals a full rebuild in Oklahoma City – something it seems like we have heard multiple times in recent years. The departure of Donovan, however, makes it seem increasingly likely that GM Sam Presti and the Thunder brass will try to start with a fully clean slate. That very likely means the end of both Steven Adams and Dennis Schroder's days as members of the Thunder. Danilo Gallinari is already a free agent. If they can find a suitor for Chris Paul and his $42 million player option they will surely pull the trigger on that, too. Once again, the Thunder will be looking at a very new roster when the new season begins.
