The Pistons and Jerami Grant are finalizing a three-year, $60 million contract for the 2020-21 season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Nuggets, who only had Grant for one season, will surely be sad to see him go but will thank their wallets later. That's not to say Grant would be overpaid at $20 million per season, but the Nuggets just could not commit that much money to a role player. Grant has been a steady presence for the better part of the past five seasons and he finally gets a big payday. The Pistons have been very active in the early stages of free agency.
