In his fourth straight start, Sekou Doumbouya had 15 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds and three steals in 33 minutes as the Pistons beat the Cavs 115-113 on Tuesday.
Doumbouya has fared well considering that prior to this four-game stretch he had never played more than 10 minutes in an NBA game. But despite a pair of double-doubles, Doumbouya is a bit of a dart-throw as a relatively raw rookie. His role appears to be safe, though, with Blake Griffin (knee surgery) done for the season. Tony Snell actually performed better in a start than Doumbouya in providing 18 points (7-of-10 FGs), four boards, two dimes and four triples in 31 minutes.
