Russell WestbrookPG, Houston RocketsChris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that the Rockets and Magic spoke about a Russell Westbrook trade that revolved around a package including Aaron Gordon, but talks never progressed.
Westbrook's list of suitors doesn't look to have expanded at all here, and right not it looks like just the Knicks (who were merely said to be a viable choice) and Hornets (who have downplayed their interest). On the flip side, Gordon has now been connected to the Blazers, who ultimately went for Robert Covington instead, and Rockets after being in the rumor mill most of last season. It wouldn't be a surprise to see both players on new teams by opening night.
