Dennis SchroderPG, Oklahoma City ThunderAccording to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the Lakers inquired about Thunder guard Dennis Schröder but the talks stalled as the Thunder were looking for a "hefty return."
Schröder has had an excellent season for the Thunder, who are currently the 7th ranked team in the Western Conference. He is currently a candidate for sixth man of the year. The Lakers are looking to upgrade their point guard position as they look towards winning a title in June. This report leads us to believe that the Lakers will continue to be in the market for a starting level point guard. It remains to be seen if they can get that through a trade or if they will have to wait for the buyout market.
