    Adrian Wojnarowski and Jonathan Feigen have both reported that GM Daryl Morey will be stepping down from his role with the Houston Rockets.

    This comes as a slight surprise, but Morey was already on the hot seat after sending a "Free Hong Kong" tweet in the preseason. Coupled with the lack of success this season and the fact that owner Tilman Fertitta is far too hands on, Morey has decided to step down from his duties. The Rockets are promoting Executive VP of Basketball Operations, Rafael Stone as their next GM. Stone played a part in the Rockets' team building throughout the years, but with this news, anything is on the table with the Rockets.
