Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets to a Game 5 victory over the Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals on Friday evening, finishing with 22 points, 14 rebounds and five assists.

Jokic was the key once again for the Nuggets on Friday and they were able to avoid elimination. It was a very Jokic-like performance and the oft-criticized (for not being in shape) center logged 40 minutes, his most of the series. He added two blocks and a steal and was efficient shooting the ball, finishing 9-of-17 from the floor (2-of-6 from long range). Game 6 is on Sunday as the Nuggets will be up against the wall again, down three games to two.
