According to Thursday's reports, the NBA and NBPA will discuss moving the free agency dates forward as early as possible to accommodate training camps which are scheduled to kick off on December 1st.

The timeline to get rolling for the NBA is very short and they'll put together every effort to give new arrivals time to mesh with their new teams prior to season tipoff. This may not have a big impact on individual player or team performance in the early going, but this quick turnaround does help teams that have continuity from the last season without too many moving pieces.
