Marcus SmartPG, Boston CelticsMarcus Smart picked up three steals as the Celtics beat the Sixers in Game 3 of their first round series on Friday, finishing with 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists as well.
Smart had some incredibly athletic plays, including an acrobatic layup over Joel Embiid in which he was also fouled. This was a gritty victory for the Celtics, who now lead the series three games to none. Smart said of the performance, "We didn't play our best defensive game but we did enough to win." That seems about right, and the Celtics will be looking to close out the sweep on Sunday.
