Kenny WootenPF, New York KnicksThe Knicks are considering calling up Kenny Wooten from the Westchester Knicks but would first need to make room on their active roster.
Wooten has been gaining steam lately by averaging 3.7 blocks on only 23 minutes per game on the minor league squad. They would need to waive some active players or open up one of their two-way contract slots prior to January 15th. Marc Berman sees Ivan Rabb or Kadeem Allen getting the axe, but he also suspects Allonzo Trier's roster spot could be in jeopardy. In any case, Wooten would remain well off the fantasy radar despite his ability to pluck floaters right off the air, but their Jan. 15th roster churn may be worth monitoring since their players would benefit from more stable rotations moving forward.
