JaVale McGee will return to the Lakers' starting lineup for Game 1 against the Nuggets on Friday evening.

Coach Frank Vogel was thought to be considering a reinsertion of McGee, who was benched in Games 4 and 5 vs. the Rockets due to matchups, into the starting lineup. Vogel had suggested that the Lakers would "return to form" when the Nuggets series began, hinting that McGee would once again start, rather than Markieff Morris. McGee will be accompanied by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Danny Green on Friday.
