Jalen Brunson, a hot pickup in the wake of Luka Doncic's latest ankle sprain, wasn't much to write home about on Friday night with seven points, three rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes off the bench.

Brunson was the big winner during Doncic's last absence as the replacement starter but Rick Carlisle went in a different direction here. If you picked him up, give it one more game to see if this was a blip on the radar. If it's another 20-minute outing, feel free to cut bait.
