After decommitting from Michigan, Isaiah Todd announced that he would join the NBA/G League's new professional pathway program.

Todd is expected to receive the $500,000 salary that Jalen Green will also be receiving next season. This is another indicator that we are witnessing the initial stages of the G League's rise to prominence as a legitimate option for NBA prospects that are not interested in the traditional college basketball route. While Green will undoubtedly find himself in a great place for the NBA no matter where he plays basketball for a year, it will be interesting to see how this year turns out for Todd, a promising prospect who is not a can't miss option like Green is projected to be.
