DeMarcus CousinsC, Los Angeles LakersBoth the Heat and the Lakers have shown recent interest in bringing in DeMarcus Cousins for the NBA's return to action and playoffs in Orlando in late July and August.
The Heat, for one, have shown interest in Cousins on multiple occasions in the past. Most recently, they had discussions about the possibility of adding Cousins before he signed with the Lakers last summer. The Lakers waived Cousins on February 21, at which point he "wasn't close" to a return. That being said, it's now the middle of June and there's still time for him to get up to speed over the next six to seven weeks before the action starts in Orlando.
