On Tuesday, the Clippers interviewed Sam Cassell for their head coaching position that became available when Doc Rivers was dismissed.

Cassell spent six years as an assistant to Rivers, so he is familiar with the organization. However, he is merely one of several potential candidates, which include Mike Brown and Ty Lue.
