Week 8 MNF Fantasy Preview

  • Bengals (-3.5) @ Browns (+152): O/U 46

    Bengals

    QB

Joe Burrow: Burrow is coming off an incredible game where he threw for 481 yards and three touchdowns. Burrow started the year off slow, but he’s been playing well lately. Not only has he been safer with the ball, but he’s increased his efficiency tremendously. The Browns are ranked 15th against opposing quarterbacks, making this a neutral matchup for Burrow. The injury to Ja’Marr Chase will hurt Burrow, but the Bengals still have a fantastic surrounding cast. Burrow should be started in most leagues and only sat if you have a consensus top-5 quarterback on your roster.

    RB

Joe Mixon: Mixon has not been efficient with his touches this year, but he’s still seeing a lot of volume. He is seeing 17.3 carries per game but averaging a career-low 3.3 yards per carry. Mixon is also averaging a career-high in receiving yards and receptions per game. The Browns allow the third most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, so if Mixon can increase his efficiency, he could be in for a monster game. Mixon is a must-start running back this week.
