Raiders (+7.5) @ Chiefs (-345): O/U 52
Raiders
QB
Even though the Raiders earned their first victory of the season against the Broncos, Derek Carr didn’t score a single touchdown and failed to eclipse 200 passing yards. The Chiefs have given up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing QBs through four games (21.8), and the high point total suggests that the Raiders are going to put some points on the board in this affair. Look for Carr to get back on track in this matchup. He’s got a chance to produce low-end QB1 numbers on the week while he’s definitely a worthwhile play in two-QB formats.
RB
After exploding for the RB1 performance in Week 4, Josh Jacobs has a great shot at having another strong performance against a Chiefs team that is middle of the pack against opposing RBs. Jacobs has looked really good as a runner through four games, averaging 5.1 yards per carry over the last two weeks and only averaging below that mark in one game this season (Week 2 vs. Cardinals). There is no competition at all for carries in Vegas, so look for Jacobs to shoulder the load once again and it seems like the Raiders are only able to stay competitive if Jacobs is involved early and often. Start him with confidence across formats.
