Two more borderline teams here will match up and on paper, this game probably seems pretty boring. There’s talent on both of these rosters even though they both have clear holes. The 1.5-point spread is indicative of the fact that Vegas sees this as being a close, competitive game as well.

    Main Storylines to Watch

Uneven Season: The Saints have been a tale of two halves so far with the defense looking very solid in the first five games and their offense looking superior in the past five games. They are still hoping to put it all together, and if they can they could be deadly with plenty of veteran talent up and down the roster on both sides of the football. This is a game they should win, even if Derek Carr can’t play for some reason. Jameis Winston is a serviceable backup, even if he’s turnover-prone.

Damn You, Arthur Smith: Will we see Bijan Robinson truly unleashed in a workhorse role this season or will we have to wait until next season? Even longer? Robinson managers have been frustrated by the split backfield with Tyler Allgeier. The good news is that the Falcons will likely run the football a whole lot, regardless of the score. They’re fifth in the NFL in rush attempts per game and are still searching for anything resembling a reliable passing game. The QB shuffle seems to have settled on Desmond Ridder, but that’s not necessarily a good thing for anyone in fantasy.
