NFL FantasyPass: Week 11 QB Rankings

  • Want to know where your starting QB might wind up by week’s end? Here’s our guess as to where the QB ranks will shake out when the dust settles on Monday. We hope you’ll use this to determine who to start and who to sit, but also to try to determine if you’re favored at each position in your weekly matchup.

    Projected Finish Name Team Notes
QB1 Lamar Jackson BAL Lamar is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and has played very well. He historically plays well against Cincinnati and usually wins.
QB2 Jalen Hurts PHI Hurts will be out for blood in the Super Bowl rematch. This is a statement game for the Eagles.
QB3 Tua Tagovailoa MIA The Dolphins should beat up the Raiders pretty bad, the biggest risk here is if they run the ball 50 times instead of letting Tua cook.
QB4 C.J. Stroud HOU Stroud is on fire and a certified star in the NFL already. Arizona's defense is weak and the Texans will score a lot.
QB5 Patrick Mahomes KC Mahomes and Kelce will be fresh after the bye as they play a big Super Bowl rematch. They will rise to the occasion like they always do.
QB6 Justin Herbert LAC The Chargers cannot seem to buy a break, but still find themselves close to the playoffs. Herbert should be able to dice up the Packers.
QB7 Jared Goff DET The Lions are a powerful offense, and Goff is a safe play even when his RBs account for three TDs on the ground. His ceiling is still quite high when the TDs go his way.
QB8 Dak Prescott DAL Prescott has been on fire lately and Carolina is an easy opponent. The defense has been better lately, but the offense will likely struggle and give Prescott lots of opportunities.
QB9 Josh Allen BUF Bills fans are not feeling great after MNF, but Allen is still a great fantasy QB. The turnover issues do not hurt as bad when he can rush for TDs. The Jets will give him trouble, so he is a riskier start than usual.
QB10 Kyler Murray ARI Murray looked solid, picking up the win in his first game back. The Houston defense has not been too great and there should be a lot of points in this game.
QB11 Sam Howell WAS Howell has silently been on a tear and nobody is talking about it enough. He is startable as a QB1 play every week if he keeps this up, and the Giants should not give him much trouble.
QB12 Brock Purdy SF The bye week fixed the 49ers and Purdy has his weapons back so he should be a fine, safe play.
QB13 Joe Burrow CIN Burrow has a tough matchup with Baltimore's defense, but perhaps they shoot themselves in the foot again this week?
QB14 Justin Fields CHI Fields is expected back to play against the Lions. This is about the time last year where he went on a tear, but the Lions are a tough matchup so we will have to wait and see. A good game here will be very promising for the rest of the season.
QB15 Trevor Lawrence JAC Lawrence has had a few turnover issues, but the talent is there. Tennessee's defense is vulnerable and he should be able to put up a good baseline.
QB16 Russell Wilson DEN Russ is cooking again and Minnesota is red hot. This could be a tough matchup for him, but Russ is good for 200 yards and a couple TDs most nights.
QB17 Joshua Dobbs MIN Dobbs has been on fire in his two Minnesota games and should get Justin Jefferson back this week. The Denver defense, however, has really put things together and could give him a long day.
QB18 Jordan Love GB Love has not been a very sexy start lately, but the Chargers defense is not incredible and he can certainly provide this week.
QB19 Baker Mayfield TB The Bucs have been inconsistent and Baker faces a tough 49ers defense. Do not expect a great game here, but Mayfield could put up some solid counting stats in a negative gamescript.
QB20 Geno Smith SEA Smith looked much better this past week than he had prior, but there are not too many TDs to go around. Geno is a safe floor play, but there is not too much of a ceiling this week.
QB21 Matthew Stafford LAR Stafford is expected back this week, but faces a Seattle defense with dominant CB play. Stafford might be able to have a big day with short passes over the middle, but there likely will not be many scores from the Rams.
QB22 Will Levis TEN The Titan's rookie has not been able to produce much since the explosion in his first career start. The NFL is tough for rookies and there is not much going on around him.
QB23 Aidan O'Connell LV O'Connell seems to have figured out his best option is to feed Davante Adams, which should provide him a solid baseline whenever a defense is not able to contain him.
QB24 Zach Wilson NYJ We know the story with Wilson now, and the Buffalo defense will not be kind to the division opponent.
QB25 Kenny Pickett PIT Pickett has an aversion to the end zone that prevents him from having great fantasy value. The Cleveland defense will be very tough on him.
QB26 Bryce Young CAR Bryce Young has been looking smarter each week, but the Dallas defense is exactly the type to punish him for every mistake. Dallas should have an easy win this week.
QB27 Dorian Thompson-Robinson CLE DTR is an exciting prospect, but he did not look good at all earlier this year. His rushing upside tempts me to put him higher, but until we see more, it would be wise to avoid starting him.
QB28 Tommy DeVito NYG Tommy will face a Washington defense that is not super promising, but the lack of passing volume for the Giants will never allow him to have a big fantasy game.
