Adam Wainwright UNDER 3.5 Pitcher Strikeouts

It’s no secret that Adam Wainwright has had a rough season. The Cardinals continue to start him and he continues to be ineffective. That being said, he actually recorded a Quality Start in his last outing, which came against the New York Mets. In that start, he was able to last six innings but was still unable to register more than two strikeouts. Waino has started 16 games this year and has gone over 3.5 strikeouts in only three of those starts. His baseball savant page speaks to his effectiveness as he ranks in the bottom percent in multiple metrics, including xBA, xERA, K% and whiff%, while ranking in the bottom two percent in chase rate.

Noah Syndergaard OVER 6.0 Hits Allowed

Noah Syndergaard might be extra motivated tonight against the team that cut him earlier in the season, but that does not mean he will be able to put hitters away. This Dodgers team is the hottest in the league at the moment and Thor has allowed more than six hits in six out of his last seven starts. The Dodgers only trail the Braves in OBP against right-handed pitching this season.

Francisco Lindor OVER 1.5 Total Bases

The Mets have propelled themselves back into the NL Wild Card race after going 7-3 in their last 10 games. In a previous matchup this year, Francisco Lindor hit a 2-run home run off Bryce Elder at Truist Park. Aside from Elder’s last start, which came against the sorry Yankees, he had been brutal. Lindor has been excellent recently, with a .352 batting average over the last 15 days. The switch-hitting shortstop is currently on an eight game hit streak.

Blake Snell UNDER 2.5 Walks Allowed

Snellzilla was finally able to get his walks down in his last game. That came against the Orioles, who have actually gotten the fifth most amount of walks against left-handed pitchers this season. Snell faces the Marlins tonight who have the fewest amount of walks against left-handers this year with 65 BBs in 981 ABs.

Manny Machado OVER 1.5 Total HITs + RBIs

The Padres have had a strange season, but if they want to make a final push into the Wild Card race, now is the time. With their ace on the mound, they will turn to some of their stars to produce tonight against Jesus Luzardo. Machado homered in Monday’s matchup and in five appearances against Luzardo in the past, Manny has homered twice.

Brent Rooker OVER 0.5 Total RBIs + RUNs

This matchup between bottom feeders continues in Oakland with Angel Zerpa getting the start for the Royals. Zerpa has an ERA sitting at 6.08 this year and Brent Rooker was the lone All-Star representative for this Athletics team that has really had nothing to play for all season.
