Kenny Rosenberg OVER 4.5 Hits Allowed
The 28-year-old has made two starts for the Angels and he allowed seven hits in both of those starts. His only other appearance came in relief in what might have been Shohei Ohtani’s last start as an Angel. Over his three appearances, Rosenberg has walked nine batters and allowed 16 hits. A report just came out today that the Angels would consider moving Mike Trout, if he asked. I’m not sure if this season can get any worse for Angels fans.
Jose Ramirez OVER 8.0 Hitter Fantasy Score
J-Ram has hit this number in every game so far this series. He homered in Saturday’s matchup and has a favorable matchup against Kenny Rosenberg. Over the three games in Anaheim, Ramirez has six hits with two runs and a stolen base. The Guardians should be able to take advantage of the makeshift starter who will be making only his third career start.
Underdog Fantasy
Peter Lambert OVER 4.0 Strikeouts
Lambert has hit at least four strikeouts in five out of his last six starts. The only start in which he did not was against the high-powered Braves. The Giants strike out at an above-average clip. Over the last month they sit in the top-10 in total strikeouts among all clubs. They rank fifth in total strikeouts on the entire season. Lambert should be able to stay in the game long enough to get four Ks. He has averaged just under 90 pitches per game since August.
Wilmer Flores OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Wilmer Flores is having an under the radar season but has been an impactful part of this Giants lineup. He leads the Giants in total bases, batting average, home runs and WAR. In the first two games of this series, Flores has four hits with two runs scored and three RBIs. The Giants officially eliminated the Rockies from playoff contention after Saturday’s game and they absolutely need to win to stay in the wild card race.
