Framber Valdez OVER 4.0 Hits Allowed

In 23 starts since May 15, Framber Valdez has allowed at least four hits in every game except two. One of those games was his no-hitter and the other was his start against the Tigers where he had a no-hitter after seven innings but was pulled due to a high pitch count. The Twins managed to make it a game after Justin Verlander came out in the first game of the series and that momentum might carry over into this game against Framber Valdez, who had a very inconsistent season.

Grayson Rodriguez OVER 4.0 Hits Allowed

This is a huge spot for the rookie in what might be the Orioles’ final home game of the year. One of Grayson Rodriguez’s worst starts of the season came against this same Rangers team. In that start, Rodriguez gave up nine runs on six hits in only 3.1 innings. The first start of his career was also against the Rangers and he was better in that one, but still allowed four hits. The rookie allowed four hits or more in his each of his last five starts of the regular season.

Royce Lewis OVER 8.0 Fantasy Points

Year after year, we see teams in the postseason ride the hot hand and right now there is no hotter hand than Royce Lewis. The rookie is almost single-handedly carrying this Minnesota offense at the moment. Lewis has three hits so far in the postseason, all three of them home runs. He has also drawn two walks in the postseason and in the regular season, he stole six bases in just under 60 games so that can help him reach this number.

Jordan Montgomery UNDER 5.0 Hits Allowed

Montgomery has been excellent for the Rangers recently and has probably been their most reliable pitcher. The Orioles had only five hits over the entire game in the first matchup of this series and maybe there is the case of postseason jitters for a young squad who has never been in this position before.
