Zach Eflin OVER 4.0 Pitcher Strikeouts
Eflin has had an up-and-down year, but his strikeout numbers have been okay. He ranks top-30 in total strikeouts among all pitchers and he has hit at least four strikeouts in his last five starts. Eflin has made two starts against the Orioles this season and he hit four in one and eight in the other, which was the more recent one. He only allowed two hits over seven innings in that start.
Gerrit Cole OVER 7.0 Pitcher Strikeouts
Gerrit Cole is in his Cy Young year and he’s been mowing guys down all season. He’s had more prolific strikeout numbers in previous seasons, but he is as good as he’s ever been at getting guys out and the Pirates don’t offer much resistance. They have some inexperienced players in their lineup and Cole should be able to register at least seven strikeouts, something he’s done in four straight.

Logan Webb OVER 17.5 Pitching Outs
I prefer outs over strikeouts in this game as Logan Webb’s strikeout numbers have been down this year. That being said, he has still pitched really well and has been effective as San Francisco’s ace. In his last eight starts, he has gotten 18 outs in seven of them. The one he didn’t, he got 17 so he should be close to this number. The Rockies stink and Webb’s last start came against this same Rockies team where he lasted 18 outs and allowed only three hits.
Matt Olson OVER 1.5 Total Bases
There’s an easy argument to be made that Matt Olson should be the NL MVP, if not for his teammate Ronald Acuna. He leads the league in home runs, RBIs and has a .999 OPS. The matchup today is against Johnny Cueto, someone Olson has homered against twice. Cueto has allowed 19 runs in his last four starts and Matt Olson is hitting .291 against right-handed pitching this season.
