    Bears (+180) @ Jets (-4.5): O/U 39.5

    Key storylines/What to Watch

The Jets are coming off of an abysmal offensive performance where they mustered just 2 total offensive yards in the second half. As of Tuesday, the Jets haven’t committed to Zach Wilson as their starting quarterback, although one can assume he’ll start. It seems like all hell is breaking loose for the Jets, even though they sit at 6-4 and are favored by 4.5 points in this game. On the other side of the game, the Bears come into this game trying to avoid a 5 game-losing streak. Justin Fields has been playing great over that stretch, but the Bears defense and surrounding cast have let him down.

    Top Starts

Justin Fields: Fields is on a historical stretch of fantasy performances. Fields comes into play as the QB4 in standard-scoring ESPN leagues, which is amazing considering the slow start to his season. Over the past four weeks, Fields has 594 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns, and two interceptions. Over the past four weeks on the ground, Fields has 470 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Fields has become a true fantasy superstar and is an absolute must-start moving forward.

Michael Carter: Carter has played a much higher percentage of snaps than James Robinson since the Jets acquired him. Last week, Carter played 50% of snaps, while Robinson played just 22%. The Bears allow the fourth-most points to opposing running backs, and the Jets will likely want to take the ball out of Zach Wilson’s hands as much as possible. Carter is a good flex option this week, and he could be a good bye-week replacement as an RB2.

    Boom/Bust Dart-Throw

Garrett Wilson: This play fully depends on how many times the Jets let Zach Wilson throw and how well he plays. Before their game against the Patriots, Garrett Wilson saw 16 targets, turning them into 14 catches for 207 yards. When Garrett Wilson has been targeted at a high rate, he has been nearly elite, but it’s hard to trust a receiver who has Zach Wilson throwing to them. This is a good bounce-back spot for both of the Wilsons, making Garrett Wilson a great boom-or-bust candidate.
