Quarterback
Baker Mayfield – Buccaneers – (thumb) – Mayfield suffered a dislocated thumb in the Buccaneers Week 3 loss to the Vikings. He will miss 2-3 weeks. Jalon Daniels will take over as the starter. He is not at this point worth an add on the waiver wire and with Mayfield out, it may be time to start considering sitting Emeka Egbuka as well.
Caleb Williams – Bears – (hamstring) – We finally got official word that Williams suffered a grade 2 hamstring strain. He is expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks and last night was the first of those weeks. Despite an otherworldly performance from Case Keenum on Monday night, the Bears are expected to start backup Tyson Bagent for the remainder of Williams’ absence. With the Bears’ offense still capable of putting up points, he could be a sneaky stream start with favorable matchups against the Jets and Packers.
