• Welcome to Wednesday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 4/9! We’re officially in the final week of the regular season, and teams’ paths are becoming clearer by the day. As locked-in squads begin resting their stars, eliminated teams continue experimenting, and playoff contenders search for any edge they can get, there’s a fresh crop of under-rostered players stepping up in key roles. If you’re still in the fight, these final four games can make all the difference, so let’s get into it!

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Payton Pritchard, PG, SG, BOS (50% rostered)

Tonight: 35 minutes, 15 points (7-of-17 FG), four boards, 10 assists, one steal, one triple.

Analysis: With the playoffs right around the corner, and the Celtics securely locked into the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference, it’s Pritchard’s time to take over. He should have all the usage he can handle and take as many shots as he wants, as the Celtics have little reason to lean on their star-studded lineup down the stretch. With that in mind, the Sixth Man of the Year frontrunner is shaping up to be one of the best fantasy options available to close out the regular season.

Jonathan Mogbo, PF, C, TOR (6% rostered)

Tonight: 38 minutes, 17 points (7-of-16 FG, 2-of-2 FT), 10 boards, 11 assists, three steals, one triple.

Analysis: Mogbo was coming off a double-double in his last outing and followed it up tonight with a triple-double performance. With the Raptors out of playoff contention and potentially resting any of their key three starters, Mogbo should see even more usage than he already has and continue to produce heavily across the board.
