• So many games, so many Playoff implications! It’s Tuesday and we’ve got a 10 game slate – split into a main eight game slate and a two game night slate. The two games with the highest O/Us of the slate are the Bulls @ Cavaliers and Wizards @ Pacers, both standing at 239.5 points. Memphis is playing in a must-win matchup against the Hornets, as are the Wolves, who face a much tougher challenge against the Bucks. Still in the gruesome West Playoff race, we’ve got a Lakers @ OKC rematch after the Lakers emphatic win on Sunday! Atlanta and Orlando are also battling for Playoff seeding, and we’ve got a classic Celtics vs. Knicks matchup at the Garden with Jalen Brunson probable to play and the entire Celtics lineup questionable! Let’s get right to it!

    Tyrese Haliburton

    Position: PG

    Salary: $9,100

The Pacers have played three games against the Wizards this season. And Tyrese Haliburton has scored 20+ points every time, making 16 combined threes. Over his last 15 games, Tyrese has been putting up great shooting splits – 51/41/85, and those numbers still have the potential to rise today, as the Wizards allow the 4th best fg% to opposing SGs over the last 15 games and the 8th best 3pt% over the last 10. To opposing PGs, Bub Carrington, Jordan Poole and company are also giving up the most points and the 8th most assists in the last 15 games. So many stats to chose from, and both Haliburton’s recent trends and the Wizards permeable defense indicate that the All-Star PG should have a great shooting game! On top of this, the Wizards vs. Pacers game boasts the highest O/U of the slate, no surprise given that both teams are top-10 in pace in the last 15 games and the Wizards rank 25th in defensive rating. Tyrese’s high tempo playstyle should benefit from this, as the Wizards allow the 4th most fastbreak points and 3rd most points off turnovers to opposing teams! Threes and fastbreak? Pair that with Haliburton, and that’s a recipe for sucess. And with Pascal Siakam questionable, Tyrese could even take on some extra offensive responsibility.
