It’s Wednesday and we’ve got a great nine game slate highlighted by a Knicks @ Cleveland battle at the top of the East and OKC facing the heavily suspended Detroit Pistons. The main slate consists of eight games, with the Hawks @ Mavs game being the one with the highest O/U, standing at 238.5 points. And today could mark the first time we see the Anthony Davis -Dereck Lively II – Daniel Gafford three headed monster, as both Davis and Lively are questionable. The fun doesn’t stop here, as we’re getting the incredible Houston defense that ranks 4th in defensive rating facing off against the team with the highest tov% – the Utah Jazz! We’ve also got a battle between two giant basketball unicorns in Kel’el Ware and Kristaps Porzingis and a game every 2014 NBA fan should want to tune in – Russell Westbrook vs. Chris Paul. Let’s get right to it!

DFS Pillar Plays
Alperen Sengun
Position: C
Salary: $8,700
20 points, 14 rebounds, three assists. 37 points, 14 rebounds, six assists. 27 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists. 33 points, 10 rebounds, two assists. These are Alperen Sengun’s career games against Walker Kessler, who is questionable today, and his absence could further downgrade Utah’s defense. Speaking of the Jazz D, over the last 10 games, they have the 27th ranked defensive rating, allow the 2nd most 2nd chance points, the 2nd most fastbreak points, the most points off turnovers and the most points in the paint! These numbers will not only benefit Sengun, but also the next key pillar play. And it just keeps coming. Over the same span, they allow the 2nd most boards and 3rd most assists to opposing teams. Oh, and to opposing Cs? In the last 15 games, they’re allowing the most points and 9th most rebounds. Sengun has all the tools at his disposal to repeat his 33 points and 10 boards performance that came against the Jazz on the 27th. An interesting wrinkle here is that while the Jazz are hopeful to land Cooper Flagg, the Duke star will also play against Houston in the NCAA Tournament Final Four! And we’re not done talking about Houston!
