Many fantasy leagues are about to hit Finals week, and if you’re still in contention, best of luck. You can still improve your odds by taking advantage of a very stream-friendly schedule (we talk a lot about that down below) and a few quality adds have emerged of late, but in many respects the winner will be the one who gets the best hand dealt by fate.

There are plenty of managers who had their seasons sunk by Tyrese Haliburton playing in just one of four games this week, or Steph Curry landing hard on his hip. Jordan Poole getting 11 minutes on Monday and 20 minutes on Wednesday could’ve been the death blow. Whatever it is, we are in the midst of a very silly edition of silly season. Luck plays a big factor in every fantasy season and these aren’t exactly things you can draft for. Even being on the active roster doesn’t guarantee anything anymore. If you survived last week’s nonsense, you may only have to outrun the goofiness for seven more days. We’re rooting for you.
