Injury Report
Note that teams have until 1 p.m. local time on the day of a game to submit their report for the second leg of a back-to-back, so look out for updates throughout the day as appropriate.
Teams that have a Tuesday-Wednesday B2B:
Cavs, Clippers, Bucks, Wolves
Portland Trail Blazers @ Boston Celtics
Game Time: 07:00 pm ET

POR +9.5 (+340), BOS -9.5 (-440)

No Grant: In something that has become a sort of “tradition” in the past few years, Jerami Grant is once again unavailable for the Blazers late in the season. The forward has been recently out due to a knee issue, and is once again questionable to play on Wednesday. Grant’s absence opens up usage on the roster, which benefits players such as Shaedon Sharpe, Anfernee Simons and Scoot Henderson.
Officially, Grant is listed as questionable to play but we shouldn’t be confident in him featuring often from here onward.
Packed Injury Report: The Celtics are on a back-to-back starting on Wednesday, and this is reflected on their injury report ahead of the contest vs. the Blazers. It would not be surprising to see many (if not all) players listed on the report be out on Wednesday due to the Celtics’ having another game on Thursday. Fantasy managers can roll the dice with some of the Celtics secondary players such as Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet as streaming options.
Stream of the Game
Payton Pritchard would get a significant usage boost on Wednesday should the Celtics be without multiple starters.
Alternatives: Al Horford, Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet. Duop Reath and Kris Murray (deeper formats).
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Charlotte Hornets
Game Time: 7:30 pm ET

MIN -8 (-345), CHA +8 (+275)

Naz Remains Must-Roster: Despite Julius Randle being back in action, for as long as Rudy Gobert remains sidelined for (unclear at time of writing whether Gobert will be available on Wednesday), Naz Reid remains a must-roster player in standard formats. Once Gobert and Randle are both on the court, it will be difficult for Reid to get enough usage to remain rostered.
Nick Smith: Nick Smith Jr. is coming off a brutal shooting night, going 3-of-12 from the field, including 0-for-8 from beyond the arc. Those type of percentages are obviously a killer for fantasy managers, especially those already in the playoffs in their leagues. However, the role and usage is safe for Smith Jr. , as there is no real competition for minutes on the roster at the moment with both Brandon Miller and Josh Okogie sidelined, meaning Smith should remain rostered in deeper formats with the Hornets still having three more games this week.
Stream of the Game
With Mike Conley out, Nickeil Alexander-Walker becomes a more useful streamer for 3-and-D stats in a boosted role.
