• It’s a bit of a weird week for waivers, as there isn’t a ton of new information out there that’s particularly actionable. We have avoided major injuries, and the one big one (Paul George) already has predictable ripple effects. Frankly, most of you have no shot at picking up Jared McCain by now anyway. In a week where there are just fewer games than normal, it’s also given everyone some time and space to breathe and assess performances around the league. Let’s see who we should be looking to pick up, with recent value driving the bus in this edition of Working the Wire.

All of these players should be on a roster, but Yahoo rostered percentages say otherwise. They likely aren’t available in competitive leagues but you should still pause and confirm they aren’t available.

    Tari Eason (52%)

What more does Eason have to do? He’s pulling into a full-on timeshare with Jabari Smith Jr. and his stat-magnet ways only get better as the playing time increases.

    Isaiah Hartenstein (86%)

As obvious as obvious gets. A very small percentage of you will actually see Hartenstein unrostered, but those that do should not hesitate to add him.

    Jared McCain (51%)

Paul George and Joel Embiid are hurt again, which means McCain should run the show offensively. He was worth rostering even when both guys were healthy given that it looks as if McCain has sewn up a starting spot, but the injury developments around him turn this into a no-brainer.
