10 more games coming at us as we get into the last third of the season. Nathan and Keith will be joining forces today to try to rebound from an abysmal return to action yesterday.

This is actually quite impressive, going 0-for-5 in one entry and 1-for-6 overall. Just nasty, nasty stuff, but I suppose I was due for a stinker. I figured the long layover would have meant a light minutes restriction on Hartenstein, at worst. Instead, he barely played. Paolo had four assists by halftime and wound up with only four on the day, so that was pretty fun. Kessler got demoted to the bench as the Jazz opted to smash the tank button on the season, inserting Taylor Hendricks. The reads were wrong and there isn’t much to add here. We just have to work past it and adjust how we view some of these teams.

Bear with me as it’s been a bit since this slip went through, but I remember this being a brutal one to stomach. We finished 3-2 on the day, but there was plenty of meat left on the bone, here. All my three hits in this parlay were basically sweat-free, and Rudy Gobert had nine rebounds in the first half. Ayton attempted just five shots in 20 minutes in the last game before the All-Star Break, after averaging 9 FGM, 14 FGA and 19.2 points over his previous nine performances. Gobert logged just three rebounds in the second half and also got an early start to his vacation. This one felt so good, too, but so does today’s slip, so let’s get our lick back!
