Can you believe that 14 weeks have passed already? The fantasy season continues rolling by and before you know it we will be in April. Of course, that means there is no time to fool around so lets get into the pickups from a 12-game slate on Monday.
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Josh Hart, G/F, Knicks
Tonight: 39 minutes, eight points (3-of-7 FG, 2-of-2 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, one block
Hart and Precious Achiuwa both got starts tonight with Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) sidelined. Achiuwa turned 33 minutes into nine points (4-of-6 FG), one 3-pointer, five rebounds and one block. Hart is above the 50% threshold but I included him anyway since he should be a must-roster 12-team player for out-of-position rebounds and other good stuff if he continues starting while Randle is out. Achiuwa is interesting, but probably not more than a back end 12-team stream at his very best. We should monitor how he progresses and how his minutes look when OG Anunoby is back.
Cody Martin, G/F, Hornets
Tonight: 31 minutes, 14 points (5-of-10 FG, 3-of-5 3PT, 1-of-1 FT), six rebounds, eight assists, one steal
Martin got a start and it was notable with a few Hornets regulars sidelined. If the team remains shorthanded, Martin looks like a useful 3-and-D option. I wouldn’t expect the eight dimes, but someone would need to help with the playmaking so it may as well be him.
