Key Storylines

The Hawks have lost four straight games and they are currently three games outside of the last play-in spot. They are having a disappointing season thus far and there are also rumors that Dejounte Murray, who they traded for last year, may already be on the move. However, the Wizards are even worse with a 6-25 record on the season so the Hawks have a chance here to end their skid. The Hawks will be without Onyeka Okongwu and De’Andre Hunter in this one.

Tyus Jones was questionable but has now been cleared for the Wizards, but we still want to see more from Jordan Poole. Delon Wright also returned recently and can help take on ball-handling duties while providing some defense. Poole had been trending up over the past two weeks but he put up duds in his last two games. His minutes and production have been too inconsistent to rely upon this season but this is the highest projected game total on today’s slate so he has may have a chance to turn things around.
